WEEK OF CLINICS
Flying Scots
Deep Creek Yacht Club at Turkey Neck, Swanton, MD
Hosted by Deep Creek Sailing School
June 27-30, 2005
(Monday through Thursday)
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The focus of the “Week of
Clinics” will be on intermediate and advance racing skills for those
skippers or crews that have some Flying Scot racing experience. For
those that want to learn to race, please contact the Deep Creek Sailing
School for a schedule of adult learn to sail or learn to race classes.
BOATS:
This is a “bring your own
boat” clinic. The club has a ramp to launch boats (no hoist).
Boats should have a “team” put together (skipper and one or two crew
members). Boats can rotate through many combinations of teams.
If you are a skipper or a crew looking for a team member, we will try to
help coordinate that but no guarantee. Even if you do not have a
boat or a team to go on the water, attend the shore sessions and you will
still learn a lot!
COSTS:
The clinic registration
fee is $25 per person for the four days. The fee will not be
prorated for those attending only part of the time. Food is an
additional cost. Registration and payment deadline is June 17th.
There will be no late registration.
